Great location near train station and Dover center. The room was small but had all necessary amenities, including a TV. Clean sheets and bathroom. Friendly staff and the option to leave luggage after check-out.
Felt warm, no complaints.

The staff was totally unfriendly, and had no sense at all of being nice, or polite.

Room was renovated!
Very unfriendly staff. Very rude. Said we had to pay 3% extra for using visacard although on the website was nothing about that. We even were asked to leave if we didn't like it! Room was on streetside and traffic was too loud inside. Blinds let too much light through. Bed was like a selfmade box that was like a soundbox to every sound in- and outside. Very small but rest okay. Breakfast from 7 to 8. Come on! Also they were very hasty. Took away things while still eating and having not finished. If you didn't hold on it was gone if you only looked outside at 7h30. Other guests were complaining on same as all above. Think staff is Polish or Slowaks!?

The room was clean, comfortable, and had modern amenities. The shared kitchen facilities were well-maintained and convenient. The staff member was friendly and helpful. The location was central and close to everything.
There was a noise issue from the road, so earplugs are recommended. The lack of double glazing made it difficult to block out the noise.

Owner was very kind. Very clean rooms.
Very high and steep stairs. Extremely difficult to take up your luggage. Second floor and we had two large suitcases. We had a code to get into the hotel but the door kepy getting stuck and we had to wait for somebody to come out to open the door, Internet signal weas very weak and we were always getting cut off or we had to use our computer in the corridor.

The beds were comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. the kitchen was well set up and allowed for easy meal preparation. the location of the hotel was convenient, being only a short walk from the train station and close to other amenities such as shops and restaurants.
The stairway up to the rooms was narrow and steep, making it difficult to carry luggage up. the lack of adequate lighting in the stairwell was a safety concern, as it was often dark and hard to navigate.

It left us with many stories about his horrendous place, mostly Fawlty Towers type stories.
Windows don't open past a crack, hot room. Rooms face the busy street and a gas station with all night lighting. Room is pitifully small and the bathroom is tiny but does work. Breakfast is so so. And the son, who was the man in charge, is as rude as any human could be. \How can you say what you didn't like and not have it be a complaint?

I felt extremely comfortable during my stay and have no complaints whatsoever.

Despite the initial impression we found the place spotlessly clean and everything worked. Very good breakfast.
Rooms very small and stairs very cramped. As this is the first impression you get it isn't favorable, however everythong does get better. There seemed to be some teething troubles with the security ystem, as the doors didnt always open.

The rooms were not big, but modern and very tidy. The breakfast was very good. Although the hostel does not have own parking facilities it gave us good information about possibility of free parking in the neighbourhood. Very good price-quality balance.
The owner is very nice, but can appear a bit too direct to some of the guests ( very quick explanation, imposing the quick payment).
